• This one features a significant change compared to its original draft: William's mum appears instead of his dad.  I'd realised there was an unhealthy lack of female characters in the original series (partly because my near-stick-figure art style at the time made drawing females really difficult), and I thought this strip presented an easy opportunity to start doing something about it.
• I also made more effort second time around to make the pumpkin look like Martin Luther, but I honestly don't know whether it works.  It's difficult to strike a balance between drawing a 16th-Century monk accurately but also, simultaneously, drawing him in a way that looks like his effigy has been carved onto a vegetable by a kid who probably isn't old enough to be let loose with the kitchen knives yet!
