• No real-life inpsiration here.  This one came completely from the twisted insides of my own head.  I couldn't let the once-in-a-lifetime coincidence of dates pass by without some sort of commentary.
• Perhaps also worth noting: I think the fact that Jake took Tom's statement seriously offers further support for the idea that he's a relatively recent addition to the church.
