Strip 035
After nine months, my previously-untitled series of doodles finally gets a proper name: Grace and Caffeine.  Meanwhile, the on-panel discussion is based on a rather dismal experience in Devon... but I won't name and shame the congregation in question.

Strip 036
Another instalment in the ongoing string of episodes showing Homo Christianus variants month by month.  The football and karate are fictional, but the mention of a new college was a reference to the fact that I was just starting a BSc in Media Production at Farnborough College of Technology.  I didn't know the course existed when I started writing these cartoons, but by the time I wrote the last episode more than three-and-a-half years later, I had finished the course and got my results (I scraped a first, in case you were wondering).

Strip 037
I think this one speaks for itself.  It's the first of several episodes from around 2007 / 2008 which pick at the distinction between 'The Church' (i.e. the people) and the 'church' as in the building where The Church meets.

Strip 038
Following on in the same theme as last week, and unintentionally foreshadowing a string of episodes that would be written fifteen months later (see January 2009) in which Jake and Edwin continue to discuss some of the more esoteric aspects of the Book of Revelation.
