This is the one and only time the phrase "grace and caffeine" was used in the body text of an episode.  Go ahead and read them all to check, if you like, but you won't find another strip that uses the phrase in dialogue.
Please don't ask what I was thinking when I did the colour version.  I think I was really, really bored.

Implausible as this one may seem, it's actually one of the written-from-life ones: I wrote it after two of our own deacons at YBC (one of them being my dad) both broke their arms during football games.
I've given up playing football, on the grounds that it's bad for you.  Not that I ever played much anyway.

I took an optional module in Genetics as part of my Biology A-Level.  The intricacy of the DNA coding mechanism is every bit as impressive (and scary) as Jake implies.
